Source WXP 2L Storm Valve – Hydration Bladder with Drinking Tube, Black

The Source WXP 2L Storm Valve hydration system is a durable, high-performance 2-litre hydration bladder for backpacks, daypacks and tactical equipment. This complete hydration system provides a reliable water supply during outdoor activities, hiking, sporting challenges and professional operations. Its flat design allows the reservoir to be stored efficiently in suitable backpacks with a hydration bladder compartment.

The hydration bladder is made from three-layer, co-extruded polyethylene film. The Source Taste-Free System helps preserve the natural taste of the water without transferring an unpleasant plastic flavour. The PE film used is free from BPA and phthalates.

The extra-wide Widepac sliding opening makes the reservoir easy to fill, empty completely and rinse thoroughly. The airtight sliding closure provides convenient access to the inside of the hydration bladder and allows it to be left open for drying after use. In addition, the WXP system features a large, low-profile NC filler cap that can be operated with one hand.

The angled Hi-Flow Storm Valve uses a push-pull mechanism and does not require biting. It delivers a high liquid flow rate and features an integrated shut-off mechanism. The valve rotates through 360 degrees, allowing it to be adjusted to the preferred drinking position. It can also be disassembled easily for cleaning. The included Dirt-Shield protective cover protects the mouthpiece from dust and dirt during transport.

The 94 cm drinking tube features a woven Cool Weave cover. This insulates the tube and blocks UV light. The integrated QMT quick connector allows compatible filters, a Source UTA or other suitable accessories to be attached at the push of a button. The quick-release connection also simplifies handling when inserting or removing the hydration bladder.

Hi-Flow Storm Valve with a High Liquid Flow Rate

The angled Storm Valve drinking valve opens by pulling and closes by pushing. There is no need to bite the mouthpiece. This provides a comfortable drinking experience comparable to drinking through a straw. The integrated shut-off mechanism allows the valve to be locked securely.

The Storm Valve rotates through 360 degrees and can be adjusted to the preferred drinking position. Its angled design allows the tube to be routed at a shorter length, reducing the amount of excess tubing around the chest. The drinking valve can be disassembled easily for cleaning. The integrated SQC quick connection also allows the valve to be replaced or connected to suitable accessories.

Widepac Opening for Easy Filling and Cleaning

The patented Widepac sliding closure opens the hydration bladder across almost its entire width. This makes the reservoir quick to fill, easy to drain completely and convenient to rinse thoroughly. The wide opening also makes it easier to add ice and allows the hydration bladder to be left open for drying after use.

When closed, the Widepac closure provides an airtight seal. The additional low-profile NC filler cap offers another convenient way to refill the hydration bladder quickly.

Taste-Free System

The co-extruded PE film is designed to preserve the natural taste of the water without transferring a plastic flavour to the liquid. The material used is free from BPA and phthalates.

Glass-Like Technology

The exceptionally smooth inner surface of the Glass-Like PE film makes it more difficult for deposits to adhere and supports straightforward care of the hydration system. The material structure helps reduce the formation of biofilm on the treated surface.

Grunge-Guard Technology

The Grunge-Guard Technology integrated into the surfaces of the reservoir and drinking tube inhibits bacterial growth on the treated material surfaces throughout the service life of the system. However, the antimicrobial material treatment does not replace regular and appropriate cleaning of the hydration bladder.

Easy Care & Low Maintenance

When used exclusively with water, the hydration system can be rinsed with clean water and hung open to dry in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. After use with energy drinks, sweetened beverages or other liquids, the manufacturer’s detailed cleaning and care instructions must be followed.
