What is the Government Discount?Government agencies receive a 10% discount off the RRP on almost all items*, excluding items that are already discounted.
An active customer account is required to qualify for the government discount.
When is the Government Discount granted?- If you send us a legible copy of your valid government ID by email or post. We will add the government discount to your account and notify you when it is activated.
Your full name, government department and expiry date must be legible for the data to be added. Information that is not relevant to us may be redacted.
Your ID card will of course be deleted from our communication systems after verification.
Proof is only required once and any discount will be automatically guaranteed for future orders.
Once you have logged into the shop, you will see the prices that apply to you.
- If the delivery is to be sent to a federal institution (e.g. military base, police headquarters).
- If your order is sent to an army post office in the field.
- Alternatively, you can upload your government ID to your account.
Please note that we always require your valid home/registered address for billing purposes.
The discount will not be shown on the order confirmation and invoice, only the reduced prices.
When do I need to show proof of eligibility?
The government ID must be presented at the time of ordering in order to receive the discount. If you have already placed an order, please quote the order number when you send us your card.
For ease of processing, please indicate in the comments field of the order that the proof of authority is to be submitted at a later date or that the delivery address is a federal institution.
Unfortunately, we can no longer offer discounts on orders that have already been shipped or invoiced.
Armed Forces Postal Service
Deliveries to third countries via the Armed Forces Postal Service are exempt from German VAT. Deliveries by the Armed Forces Post within the EU are subject to VAT, in which case we will charge German VAT.
