The LOWA Zephyr GTX MID TF is a lightweight, waterproof duty boot with a mid-height shaft that offers optimal support, high wearing comfort and maximum functionality in demanding environments. Thanks to the GORE-TEX® membrane, it is breathable, windproof and waterproof, ideal for outdoor activities, tactical operations and professional continuous use.

LOWA Zephyr GTX MID TF duty boot

The Zephyr GTX MID TF from LOWA is part of the renowned Task Force series and was developed for professional use in extreme conditions. The combination of high-quality suede leather and breathable textile material ensures a durable, comfortable fit. GORE-TEX® technology keeps feet dry even in wet conditions, while the integrated climate system ensures a pleasant foot climate.

The innovative Monowrap construction provides a stable base and excellent traction. The well-designed sole structure allows for a natural roll and offers safety on a wide variety of surfaces. This makes the Zephyr GTX MID TF suitable for tactical operations as well as for extended hikes or everyday use on duty.

Sole

LOWA® CROSS
The LOWA® CROSS sole with its special tread pattern offers good grip on a variety of surfaces. The self-cleaning tread pattern is suitable for both firm and loose terrain.

Midsole

Approx. 100% polyurethane (PU)
Polyurethane (PU) is a soft plastic with excellent cushioning properties, which is why it is mostly used in midsoles. The PU content makes the soles lightweight and flexible.

Insole

Approx. 70% polyethylene
Polyethylene is a semi-crystalline and non-polar thermoplastic that is by far the most commonly used plastic worldwide. Polyethylene is used, among other things, as a component of plastic fibre composite fabrics in insoles, where it primarily serves to provide comfort and insulate the foot from the ground.

Approx. 20% felt
Felt is a textile fabric composed of a disordered, difficult-to-separate fibre material. The textile fabric is characterised by high elasticity and insulating properties, making it particularly suitable for use in footwear, especially as a component of insoles and as an insulating partition.

Lining material

GORE-TEX Professional
Shoes equipped with a GORE-TEX Extended Comfort Footwear membrane are permanently waterproof and particularly suitable for warm temperatures.

Thanks to their application-specific properties, our natural and synthetic textiles enable optimum heat and moisture management. Their structural design makes them supple and ensures that our products are extremely comfortable to wear.

Approx. 90% suede leather
Suede leather corresponds to the underside of the skin and is characterised by a loose fibre structure, which results in a velvety surface and a light pile. Due to its rough texture, suede leather is particularly hard-wearing and open-pored. Depending on the desired look, the suede leather can be left untreated or oiled or waxed.
