LOWA Z-8N GTX C
With the Z-8N GTX C, LOWA offers a boot specially developed for task forces that impresses with its combination of high functionality and low weight. The 20 cm high shaft made of robust nubuck leather ensures optimum support and reliable protection against external influences. The integrated GORE-TEX Professional lining guarantees a comfortable foot climate at all times – even during intensive use or long marches. The special TACTICAL Z TRAC® sole offers excellent slip resistance, outstanding cushioning and remains resistant to contact heat, oil and fuels.

Sole

LOWA® TACTICAL Z TRAC®
The special tread pattern of the LOWA® TACTICAL Z TRAC® impresses with good grip and traction even in demanding terrain. The sole, which is optimised for fast roping, combines heat and cold insulation properties, is insensitive to contact heat, antistatic and resistant to both oil and fuel.

Approx. 100% polyurethane (PU)
Polyurethane (PU) is a soft plastic with excellent cushioning properties, which is why it is mostly used in midsoles. The PU content makes the soles lightweight and flexible.

 

Insole

 

Approx. 90% felt
Felt is a textile fabric consisting of a disordered, difficult-to-separate fibre material. The textile fabric is characterised by high elasticity and insulating properties, making it particularly suitable for use in footwear, especially as a component of insoles and as an insulating partition.

Approx. 10% polyamide
Polyamides are synthetic materials that can be synthesised and used to manufacture synthetic fibres. In addition to their high resistance, polyamides are characterised by their dimensional stability, tear and abrasion resistance and waterproof properties. Polyamides are also elastic, highly stretchable and very shiny.

 

Lining material

GORE-TEX Professional
Shoes equipped with a GORE-TEX Extended Comfort Footwear membrane are permanently waterproof and particularly suitable for warm temperatures.

Upper

Nubuck leather is a full-grain leather that is lightly sanded on the grain side, giving the leather a velvety appearance. Nubuck leather is characterised by its durability, robustness and open pores. Depending on the desired look, nubuck leather can be left untreated or oiled or waxed.
