The carrying frame is an alternative to the shoulder straps supplied with the chest rig. The front straps of the frame are fitted with replaceable buckles for size adjustment.

The carrying frame is provided with a rescue grip for critical situations that enables the user to be pulled out of the danger zone. Three Velcro cable guides are attached to each side of the front straps for securing drinking tubes and radio cables.
