Greater safety
The securing loop prevents the safety lever from being released from the grenade in the event that the safety pin is inadvertently pulled.
Noiseless opening
A Fastex clip enables the hand grenade pouch to be opened noiselessly, providing a tactical advantage.
Water run-off system
The eyelets in the bottom of the pouch are for water run-off. River crossings and heavy rain are no longer a problem.
PALS attachment
The PALS attachment system originated from the idea of making it easier to attach items to and remove them from the vest than the MALICE clips hitherto used. Thinner belts and lightweight design make the mounted pouch less bulky than when connected with plastic clips.
